For every $50.00 donated, a village student will be provided a backpack and a dictionary. To thank you for our support you will receive a note from each student who receives your backpack. In Tanzania, secondary school is taught exclusively in English, a language that most students do not know. Therefore an English dictionary is crucial to the learning process. The journey to school each day often requires at least an hour’s walk; a backpack fills a real and basic need.
